The Morrigan Samhain

We had an absolutely magickal wonderful time celebrating Samhain honoring The Morrigan with Spring Heathern Fellowship.
The Morrigan, Celtic triple Goddess of War and Death reminds us that life is not easy - the life we endure day after day, night after night.
There's going to be times where you have to fight and stand up for what you believe in, your life, what you want, your path, your honor and those who try to battle it. The Morrigan is not for the weak but for those who seek betterment through strength and determination!

Gluten Free Sugar Cookies

Made these Gluten-Free Halloween sugar cookies! Having to go gluten-free due to health issues has been a sad challenge, or so I thought! Once you get everything down, where to go and play with recipes - all is not lost! So happy!

Ice cream & Old Dreams

Went to Brenham, Texas with my mom today to enjoy some antique shopping, Herman's, Funky Art Cafe and some Blue Bell ice cream at the Blue Bell Factory - Ha, I have to admit it felt like I was in grade school going on a field trip! We weren't allowed to take photos of the actual factory with all the ice cream rolling down the conveyor belt but I did get this paper hat so, I'm okay now!

Halloween Night and our Samhain Eats

Happy Halloween! My darling Bella wanted to be Sally this year and I must say, it suits her well! We only got in a small amount of Trick or Treating due to stormy weather but at least we got a little dry spell that came our way! Our Samhain dinner was one of my favorites to make - roasted pumpkin topped with grilled onions and cheese served with grilled asparagus and fresh rye bread.

Our Halloween Dinner

Every year I like to prepare a Halloween dinner as fancy as I can get! - another tradition of ours!

This year I put a lot of thought into it and it came out SO FABULOUS!!!! I ate and ate until I couldn't eat anymore! Bella loved it too however I had to make hers a little different because she's a vegetarian and I'm a pescatarian because once in a while I'll eat seafood.

For my shipwreck Halloween dinner theme this year, I made black squid ink noodles with a delicious buttery garlic lemon tomato sauce with wild caught shrimp and scallop.

For the side dish I made creamed spinach with pastry tentacles that belong to the sea creature that dwelled within!

The Witchery Witches Ball & Galveston

This year I finally went to the Witchery Witches Ball in Galveston, Tx. It was held in a very lovely historic Masonic Lodge - much fun was had! We (Jessica, Stephen and I) also wondered about the old city, had good eats and stayed in an adorable Victorian airbnb.

Bella Renfair

MY OH MY, Bella is growing up! My little wolf enjoying the Texas Rennisance, the Best in the states! We're going again in a few weeks.
