It's been way too long since I've been to Galveston's Dickens on the Strand! 8 years at least. It was extremely crowded in a Victorian setting - much fun was had!

Old Moon Deli and Pie
Over the weekend, I visited Margaret & Patrick's new Deli called Old Moon Deli and Pie!
Margaret, who is also the cellist for the Darkly Victorian music ensemble Two Star Symphony, has done an amazing job with everything about this place! A true beauty to get lost in time along with fresh outstanding eats and PIE! I'm also loving the blackberry lemonade that I wish I had EVERYDAY.
Congrats Margaret & Patrick! Galveston is sooo lucky to have you.

Antique Whorehouse
Last October, we went to Galveston's Antique Warehouse which was once a brothel (Oleander Hotel) turned into an antique store. Not only is this building creepy cool but so is everything in it for sale - each room with it's Victorian transoms above the doors as you enter the rooms of various sellers. And of course, just the old odd feelings from the residual energies over it's 100 year old past - and may I say, this antique warehouse still honors Madame Kitty in keeping her Ruby Red bedroom.

My Halloween Treat To Me
What a gem this was to acquire to add to my collection of Victorian finds! I love the satin ruching this hair wreath lays upon. I also found that this Victorian hair wreath has about 20 small name tags of who's hair were made out of each flower- a family hair wreath <3
