Gazing in the Garden

Leave it to me to naturally be drawn to Victorian beauty - without even knowing it was used in the Victorian era.

I love to garden and all things garden related - it's also a way to feel close to my great grandmothers who have passed on. This year I planted 7 roses and wanted to expand their beauty by placing a Gazing Ball in my garden. I found myself very drawn to them so of course I had to check out the history of them - not surprised that they were very popular in Victorian gardens and has an interesting history and mystical lore about them you can read here. Now on to my Gazing Ball with my blooming climbing Roses (Blaze) and Gazing Balls from the past!

Glowing For Spring!

I've never really got into Physicians Formula until now - and who wouldn't with such frou-frou must have adorable packaging! I must admit, I'm a sucker for it! And now for the best part? The products themselves are a shooting star! I'm loving it and the subtle, healthy, natural glow they give you. Knowing me, I prefer the natural look for day to day wear and you could easily smoke up your eyes and smooch on some bolder lips for evening glamour!

Tokymilk Dark

Love & Lucky Kisses with this cute Tokyomilk Dark Takeout! Such a not your usual scent in Tainted Love and I'm thrilled that the Get Lucky lip tint, in a sheer deep rose, taste like sweet candied roses! They have many interesting items to get into and you gotta love the packaging!

To Keep - My Claudia

My Claudia, her ashes and memorial/mourning locket to keep forever. Her memorial necklace I made from a vintage Sterling & Garnet Marcasite locket in which I used melted wax from her memorial candle, her fur and some rose petals. It's a lovely way to keep your spirits together whenever you need them in remembrance.
