This past weekend I visited the Scarecrow Festival in Chapel Hill, Texas - a small town between Austin and Houston. This is the 3rd year we have attended followed by some more old town shopping/dining in a historic shopping setting in Brenham, Texas. I love walking into an old building with big, tall, heavy doors with creaking wood floors and burning candles hiding the musty aroma these old buildings give off.
